Undergraduate

Research on Smart Transportation:

We are looking for a motivated and fast-learning student to join our group to work on a smart transportation project. Knowledge of algorithms (CPSC 3200) is required. Other than that, we need you to be open to learn. Here at SCAL you will be working in a very collaborative and supportive environment and all of us will help you to get up to speed.

Marketing / Communication Position

The Center for Urban Informatics and Progress (CUIP) is a research center at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) with the goal to make urban accessible, livable, and healthy for all. At CUIP, a multidisciplinary group of students and faculty members work together to address urban challenges, specially in areas such as health, mobility, and energy. We have the opportunity to work directly with the community and do a research that is impactful. We are growing at a fast pace and we are looking for someone that can help us with marketing/ communications, generating content, organizing events, and updating website. The requirement for this position are:

  • Marketing/ communications background

  • Comfortable with design

  • Has an eye for quality writing and design aesthetic

  • Clear communicator

  • Well organized and attention to details

  • Self starter

This is a full-time position for up to 3 years with competitive salary and full benefit.
